K. Laxma Goud - Artist
The translucent white at times reminds a vey barren, semi-arid soil. Like a farmer , Chari puts in tremendous energy to make the unfertile land for its transformation. To begin with, his early figurations were academically composed on to flat surfaces. Occationally, efforts wre made to put in some texture and colour. Over these years, he sustained the tirelessness, which resulted in creating a vey refreshing view of life. In those young woman’s profiles, gazing at the animal and men in her intimate vista, there is a great maturity in handling the pictorial surface to the aesthetic requirements. Still he has a long way to go… I wish him a great future. casino

Jagdish Mittal - Art historian / Art Collector
About eleven years ago, Srinivasa Chari said about his paintings ''the search and struggle for a personal visual vocabulary has been the driving force in my artistic career''. After eleven years of devoted work his recent paintings show fruition of this aim. They are matured and display full control over his sensitive brush-strokes. His minimal use of lines and a perfect sense of coloue-division of the picture-space directly appeal the viewer. As per the need of the composition and theme, the colours he uses are bold in some areas while iridescence or transparent in the remaining areas. With these qualities in his paintings Chari is now recognized as a notable young Indian artist. His commitment to painting assures the lovers of contemperory Indian art of more work by him in future and added recognition to him in coming years. casino
